In recent years, arts-based approaches to the transformation of conflict have gained increased attention and prominence, from across a range of disciplines. Individual artists, cultural groups and peace builders now engage the arts for the positive transformation of societal conflict.
The visual arts, theatre, music, dance and film are used to support communities in campaigns of nonviolent resistance to abuses of power, to create opportunities for building bridges across differences, to addressing legacies of past violence, and to imagining a future free from conflict.
By engaging with such participatory tools we want the use of art and culture to become an integral element of peace building and help lay the foundations for sustainable conditions of peace.

بخشی از اهداف اساسی این است تا از این طریق پروسه ادغام هموطنان افغان در این کشور ها سریع تر انجام گردد و با ایجاد شبکه قوی، سبب تامین ارتباط بیشتر, دادخواهی بهتر , تلاش های هنری و کلتوری مستمر و فراهم شدن زمینه مبارزات موثر در جهت تحقق عدالت اجتماعی در افغانستان شود

Artists in Exile is a platform for Afghan Artists (painting, sculpture, photography, music, Dance) who had to flee Taliban persecution.
Aim of the project
- promote art and music
- improve networking among the diaspora artists
- promote the Afghan culture
- connect afghan artists with artists around the world
- provide psychological support for afghan artist inside Afghanistan
- create jobs for afghan diaspora artists
